About the Role
This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting internal IT systems, including servers, networks, and end-user devices, to ensure consistent performance and minimal downtime across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server performance and network infrastructure
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware and software issues
- Deploy, configure, and update workstations and laptops
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Perform regular system backups and data recovery operations
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network performance problems
- Support and maintain email systems and collaboration tools
- Install and update security software and patches
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employee technology access
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
- Respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner
- Document system configurations and support procedures
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers
- Support cloud-based applications and services
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies
- Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations
- Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to IT systems
- Support audiovisual systems for meetings and events
- Maintain firewall and network security configurations
