Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt technical assistance to both local and remote end users
- Identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and infrastructure
- Set up, manage, and troubleshoot various IT systems, including computers, printers, network devices, surveillance systems, and phone systems
- Support warehouse-specific technology such as RF and barcode scanners, tablets, and wireless access points
- Perform fundamental network tasks like switch port connections, cable verification, and wireless issue resolution
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure AD user accounts, access rights, and permissions
- Deploy and maintain standardized desktop configurations and software applications
- Facilitate IT onboarding for new employees, including device setup, account creation, and orientation sessions
- Collaborate with external vendors for equipment repairs, cabling, and technical services
- Act as on-site support for corporate IT teams and third-party providers needing physical assistance
- Support security infrastructure, including video surveillance and access control systems
- Enforce compliance with organizational IT security policies, patch management, and access protocols
- Track and manage IT asset inventory and equipment lifecycle
- Maintain and update technical documentation and support procedures
- Monitor and manage incident and service requests through the company’s ticketing system
- Physically handle and relocate equipment such as computers and printers when necessary
- Provide after-hours or emergency support as needed
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in Level 1 or Level 2 IT support roles
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and PC hardware
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration tasks
- Basic knowledge of networking principles including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switching, and wireless technologies
- Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities
- Effective time management and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities
- Professional and courteous attitude with a focus on user support
Nice to Have
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center setting
- Background supporting warehouse-specific devices such as printers, mobile units, and RF scanners
- Working familiarity with Android and Apple operating systems
- Understanding of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber
- Experience with collaboration platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams
