About the Role
This is the first dedicated IT Support Specialist role, responsible for managing daily end-user support across a mixed Windows and Mac environment, enabling engineers and researchers to focus on building advanced humanoid robots.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for resolving user issues involving hardware, operating systems, applications, accounts, and network connectivity, with clear triage and escalation paths.
- Set up and ship devices, manage user identities in Okta and Google Workspace, onboard new hires, and securely offboard employees by deprovisioning accounts and wiping or recovering equipment.
- Enroll and manage Mac and Windows devices using NinjaOne for remote monitoring and Microsoft Intune for Windows MDM, including zero-touch deployment via Apple Business Manager and Autopilot.
- Support enforcement of security policies, verify CrowdStrike endpoint protection health, and maintain device trust through Okta Verify and Tailscale.
- Track all devices through their lifecycle, maintaining records of warranties, spare parts, and accessories.
- Support conference room technology, in-office networking including Wi-Fi and basic switching, and connectivity for remote locations as needed.
- Create and update runbooks, troubleshooting documentation, and user guides to ensure consistent and efficient support processes.
- Perform on-site tasks for infrastructure initiatives such as server rack installations, office setups, and large-scale device deployments.

- IT environment supports GPU-intensive workloads, lab and bench equipment, strong security requirements, and a reliable device fleet
- Currently, one IT administrator oversees identity, devices, networking, and security
- This role will handle service tickets, onboarding and offboarding, device setup, and frontline support, freeing senior IT for strategic engineering
