BioPak is seeking an IT Strategy & Systems Manager to serve as the chief architect and executor of the company’s future technology environment. You will work closely with executive leadership to assess the current IT stack, define a strategic roadmap, and drive modernization of customer-facing and internal communication platforms.
What You'll Do
- Personally own and lead the implementation of new, modern communication and workflow tools, including Front.com, Dialpad, and new website chat services.
- Work closely with the CMO to redesign and implement end-to-end lead flow processes from web form/chat to CRM routing.
- Oversee the replacement and optimization of existing web forms to improve data capture accuracy and conversion rates.
- Partner with leadership to conduct comprehensive analyses of existing, homegrown systems to determine business value and integration complexity.
- Define a clear, prioritized, and phased IT stack cleanup and modernization roadmap.
- Ensure all IT projects and the strategic roadmap are directly aligned with the company’s financial and growth objectives.
- Directly manage and mentor an internal technical team consisting of a Business Analyst and two Full-Time Developers.
- Work with the team to identify manual, repetitive processes that can be automated.
- Select, negotiate, and manage external partners and vendors for new software acquisitions and specialized implementation needs.
- Own the effort to consolidate and clean proprietary data as systems are migrated.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of all applications that support a workforce of 100+ employees.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT/Software industry.
- At least 3 years in a management role focused on IT strategy, managing developers, and leading complex system replacement projects.
- Proven experience leading the implementation of modern SaaS communication tools (e.g., similar to Front, Dialpad).
- Strong understanding of the technology required for lead identification, capture, and routing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a technical team and use a Business Analyst effectively for project scoping.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Science, Engineering or related.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Prior experience with business telephony systems (VOIP).
