Zurich Canada is hiring an IT Service Delivery Consultant to join our global Software Asset Management function as a senior specialist focused on SAP enterprise software. This challenging role is central to optimizing software contract spend, managing compliance, analyzing data, and implementing opportunities across a complex global environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide subject matter expertise on complex software licensing topics and produce Effective License Positions (ELPs) specifically for SAP.
- Interpret SAP licensing concepts, indirect usage rules, and product use rights.
- Navigate and leverage tools including SAP4Me, LAW, USSM, and self-declaration metrics.
- Provide cost transparency and assure fair allocation of software charges to business units and service owners based on usage.
- Negotiate successfully across the organization and with external suppliers in a constructive manner.
- Maintain a stakeholder community and enable an information-sharing environment.
- Proactively identify and drive initiatives to achieve software-related savings, mitigate compliance risks, and develop best practices.
- Play a key role in complex software contract negotiations, manage demand and contract updates, and liaise with vendors, legal, and sourcing teams.
- Support the day-to-day activities of the global SAM team.
