Wolters Kluwer is hiring an IT Security Associate Director - Strategic Transformation and Delivery Lead. In this global cybersecurity role, you will support the CISO and Security Leadership Team in shaping and executing our worldwide security strategy. You will act as a strategic enabler, facilitating planning, managing cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring alignment across technology teams and business units, while also serving as the local security lead for Wolters Kluwer Canada.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate planning processes, manage cross-functional initiatives, and ensure strategic alignment across multiple technology teams, global security, and business units.
- Provide delivery strategies for Global Information Security (GIS).
- Act as the local security lead supporting Wolters Kluwer Canada business units and serve as a local Information Security Officer.
- Improve and mature GIS service delivery capabilities and exceed financial and performance targets through service cost optimization, AI, and automation.
- Lead innovative hub solutions, AI-powered automation, strategic programs, and top-tier customer satisfaction.
- Support the Global Information Security team in creating and implementing the global security strategy and alignment with GBS IT stakeholders, business units, and partners.
- Create and deliver compelling GIS presentations for WK executives, other senior leaders, and customers.
- Manage and coordinate information security technology risk assessments, operational vendor relationship management, development of product selection roadmaps, and support vendor contract negotiation.
- Work with division management to develop long-term strategies, annual security plans with corresponding costs, and tactical plans to reduce IT risk.
- Facilitate tracking and reporting of divisional and business units’ metrics, results, data modeling, processing, calculating and transformation into meaningful insights and reports.
- Manage the development, maintenance, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Lead transformation programs across all divisions including global M&A-driven security initiatives and migrations.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of demonstrated progressive experience in IT, program management, security risk management, compliance and/or change and transformation management.
- 5+ years’ experience with a shared services model, vendor and/or managed security services.
- 5+ years’ experience in management of enterprise-wide transition and transformation programs.
- 5+ years’ experience in service delivery management of enterprise-wide technology and/or security services.
- Experience with security governance and IT general control frameworks such as ISO2700x, HiTrust, Cobit, ITIL, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, etc.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and proactive way to manage work.
- Able to deliver with limited oversight and take accountability of actions.
- Excellent presentation skills, both creating slides and delivering presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Minimum travel required for this position is 25%.
- On occasions, work during weekends and non-business hours.
