Capgemini is hiring an IT Project Director to spearhead significant IT projects and support clients in tackling strategic challenges. In this role, you will serve as the facilitator and conductor for large-scale IT initiatives, creating the conditions for success across teams, business units, and leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead project scoping with business units through a collaborative and listening approach.
- Clarify needs, align stakeholders, and secure a common vision for large-scale IT projects.
- Supervise several major projects or a complete program.
- Organize structured and effective governance for different decision levels.
- Facilitate project committees and meetings involving senior leadership.
- Contribute to cost estimates, planning, and budget monitoring for projects.
- Collaborate with experts across domains including Data & AI, architecture, infrastructure, and development.
- Guide teams using your holistic understanding of the IT ecosystem.
- Foster open and constructive dialogue with project sponsors.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with tact, neutrality, and diplomatic skill.
- Establish a climate of trust where all team members can contribute.
- Support project teams, encourage mutual aid, and accompany skill development.
- Create a positive work environment where everyone can bring value.
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing large-scale IT projects or programs with budgets over €1M.
- Proven ability to work in varied environments involving business units, IT teams, and strategic governance.
- Cross-sectional understanding of different IT domains (Data, AI, architecture, infrastructure, development).
- Ability to handle cost estimates and manage associated financial commitments.
- A good level of spoken and written English.
