Tencent is looking for an IT Engineer Intern to join our Americas IT Center in Palo Alto. In this role, you will work closely with our overseas IT team, learning and contributing directly to providing the best IT product and user experience for our global operations.
What You'll Do
- Participate in Tencent Overseas IT Product and Solution projects, with a focus on IT automation initiatives.
- Support local functional testing and validation of OIT products and solutions prior to studio adoption.
- Prepare local test reports, standardize user guides, and improve deployment efficiency for OIT products.
- Assist in-demand data analysis for studio adoption projects and create dashboards to support project management.
- Conduct team knowledge management, including wiki and IT self-service knowledge base construction.
- Organize team activities to improve collaboration with other departments.
What We're Looking For
- Current Bachelor's or Master's student in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or an equivalent field.
- Solid IT skills and a track record of good execution.
- Strong affinity for challenging technical subjects.
- Good communication skills, ability to work independently, and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Available for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.
- Able to commit to working 5 days a week from our Palo Alto office.
Team & Environment
You will be a member of Tencent's Americas IT Center, working closely with the broader overseas IT team.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly compensation range: $27.00 to $57.70 per hour.
- Eligible for 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.
- Up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
- Subject to terms, full-time interns are eligible to enroll in the Company-sponsored medical plan.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Palo Alto, California.
