American Medical Technology Inc. is hiring an IT Business Systems Analyst to serve as the critical bridge between business operations and information technology. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving business practices, with a primary focus on our Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations ERP system. You will act as an internal consultant, providing technical guidance and business process expertise to help us realize industry best practices.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the functional aspects of our Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations implementation, collaborating with department leads and the IT/development team.
- Learn overall business operations and develop innovative solutions to improve productivity through better use of the ERP system.
- Recommend system or process changes, documenting support needs, cost, and business impact for the IT and Analysis teams.
- Test changes to business-critical applications made by developers and provide analytical feedback on outcomes.
- Define functional requirements and system interfaces, assessing technologies to improve system efficiency, usability, and effectiveness.
- Support daily system operations and help end-users resolve issues to maintain smooth business processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships between business process owners, users, and consultants.
- Create documentation and develop procedures within the system to ensure business needs are met.
- Assist key users in testing new functionality and help document and retain ERP knowledge.
- Help department leads find solutions for inefficiencies affecting business procedures, even outside the ERP system.
- Research common business practices to draft potential improvements for current systems and processes.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues.
- Skill in analyzing and acting on multiple tasks considering their priority.
- ERP implementation experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations.
- A solid understanding of best-practice business processes and their application.
- A well-organized individual who can work with a minimal amount of supervision.
Nice to Have
- 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 F&O, particularly in Supply Chain or Manufacturing modules.
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft DevOps and Visio.
- Experience building SQL queries.
