American Medical Technology Inc. is hiring an IT Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations and information technology. This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving business practices, with a primary focus on our Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations ERP system. You will act as an internal consultant, providing technical guidance and expertise to realize industry best practices.
What You'll Do
- Oversee functional aspects of the Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance and Operations implementation, collaborating with department leads and IT/development.
- Learn overall business operations and develop innovative solutions to improve productivity through better use of the ERP system.
- Recommend systems or process changes to IT and Analysis teams, with proper documentation for support, cost, and business impact.
- Test changes to business-critical applications and provide analytical feedback on success and failure.
- Define functional requirements and system interfaces, and assess technologies to improve system efficiency, usability, and effectiveness.
- Support business processes and end-users by monitoring daily system operations and helping to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships between business process owners, users, and consultants.
- Create documentation and develop procedures within the system to ensure needs are met.
- Assist key users in testing new functionality and retaining ERP knowledge.
- Assist department leads with solutions for inefficiencies affecting business procedures, even outside the ERP.
- Research common business practices to draft possible improvements to current systems and processes.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues.
- Ability to analyze and act on multiple tasks considering their priority.
- ERP implementation experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics F/O.
- A good understanding of best practice business processes and their application.
- Well-organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, vendors, and the public.
- Strong mathematical ability, including concepts of basic algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of IT, modern business communication, office procedures, and methods.
- Ability to work with other departments, employees, clients, vendors, and third-party suppliers.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
Nice to Have
- 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 F&O in Supply Chain/Manufacturing.
- Strong Data Analysis and presentation skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft DevOps and Visio.
- Experience building SQL queries.
