Zippo GmbH is hiring an IT Admin Team Lead

Zippo GmbH is looking for an IT Admin Team Lead to lead our Onsite IT Team and ensure reliable IT operations for our international, growing company. You will be responsible for the day-to-day IT support, infrastructure, and systems that enable over 230 colleagues across Berlin, Zürich, and remote locations to do their best work.

What You'll Do

• Ensure day-to-day IT operations for colleagues in Berlin, Zürich, and remote locations.
• Maintain a smoothly running office network and all IT systems.
• Assist with hardware issues and manage orders for laptops, printers, and accessories.
• Define and document new IT processes and best practices.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and decommissioning.
• Process and track IT purchase requests for devices, accessories, and software.
• Provide daily IT support and act as the primary point of contact for employee queries.
• Prepare and monitor the IT budget, including the tool landscape.
• Review and approve IT-related invoices.
• Oversee the delivery, setup, and inventory of all IT equipment.
• Automate business processes using tools like n8n.
• Advise on and implement IT security best practices, including secure access to sensitive systems.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, and Engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
• Lead IT projects and drive initiatives to improve the overall IT experience.
• Manage and support the IT team.

What We're Looking For

• Around 5 years of experience as a Senior IT Admin or 2 years as an IT Team Lead.
• Proven experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware (laptops, phones, accessories), software (Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Slack), and IT asset management.
• Familiarity with IT procurement processes and vendor management.
• Hands-on experience with process automation tools like n8n.
• Understanding of IT security best practices (secure access, SSO, APIs).
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across hardware and software platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
• Experience leading IT projects or coordinating small teams.
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• A positive, self-motivated individual who works well both independently and in a team.
• Previous experience with Google Workspace, MDM solutions (Mosyle, NinjaOne), Atlassian Jira/Confluence, and Ubiquiti Networks.
• Fluent spoken and written English and good German language skills.
