Aksia is seeking an Investment Research Professional to join its global Investment Research team, focusing on private credit secondary investments and, to a lesser extent, co-investments and primaries. The individual will be integral to the continued growth of Aksia’s secondaries investments and will take a lead role in identifying, screening, analyzing, and recommending investment opportunities.

What You'll Do

Take a lead role in sourcing, screening, and analyzing private credit secondary transactions and select co-investments and primaries.
Provide thorough qualitative research and financial statement analysis.
Conduct financial modelling, valuation, structuring and sensitivity analyses to support the evaluation and pricing of secondary opportunities.
Manage third-party diligence, conduct secondary research, and participate in reference calls.
Liaise with the primary fund research team to assist with evaluating lead sponsors, credit portfolios and deal sourcing.
Summarize research into investment memorandums and present key findings to the Investment Committee.
Manage and maintain the firm’s internal database, including tracking investments and recording performance.
Monitor clients’ secondary investments and portfolios.
Author private markets focused research.
Participate in business development activities.

What We're Looking For

4-10+ years of experience working with private market secondaries (e.g., GP with secondaries practice, fund of funds, institutional investor, private markets consultant, secondaries advisor).
Strong financial modeling, analysis and underwriting skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with limited oversight.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attentive to detail with an ability to think analytically and critically.
Strong Excel skills.
Positive attitude and a team player with a strong work ethic.
