Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a remote Investment Banking Analyst to join our team. You will contribute to strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and leadership recruiting efforts for middle-market businesses across diverse industries. This full-time, remote position plays a vital part in supporting deal execution through detailed financial analysis, research, and client engagement.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth company and industry research to support client engagements and marketing initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize information from both internal and external sources to inform transaction strategies.
- Develop financial models and valuation assessments using multiple methodologies.
- Identify and reach out to potential financial and strategic buyers.
- Coordinate due diligence activities, manage data rooms, and prepare materials for management meetings.
- Prepare transaction documentation including information memorandums, pitch books, corporate profiles, and market analyses.
- Contribute as a key team member in advisory and financing transactions, with the ability to work independently on deal leadership.
- Ensure all activities comply with professional, ethical, legal, and risk management standards.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years experience in banking, accounting, or finance roles within corporate environments.
- Strong skills in financial statement analysis, three-statement modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence management.
- Excellent research, presentation, and communication skills with clear, concise writing ability.
- Ability to collaborate professionally with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders via phone and in person.
- High energy, creativity, enthusiasm, and integrity.
Nice to Have
- Background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is highly preferred.
- Experience in quantitative financial analysis and project management is desirable.
- Familiarity with Capital IQ and Pitchbook is a plus but not required.
