TD Securities is looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work under senior officers to generate ideas, advise clients, and execute transactions. You'll be exposed to a wide variety of clients, industries, and financial services, developing the skills to thrive in Investment Banking.
What You'll Do
- Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities.
- Develop valuation models of individual private and public companies as well as merged entities.
- Apply valuation tools to assess opportunities and value private and public companies.
- Assist with client negotiations and documentation.
- Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos.
- Prepare client presentations based upon your analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree with a demonstrated interest in finance.
- A combination of strong financial and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Adept at financial modeling and valuation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior investment banking analyst experience.
- CA and/or CFA designation considered a strong asset.
