Pacific Life is hiring a Private Credit Surveillance Analyst to assist with onboarding, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of private credit deals within our portfolio management platform. You will be a key part of the team managing over $25 billion in assets, collaborating across functions to support robust portfolio oversight and reporting.
What You'll Do
- Support the implementation of a new portfolio management SaaS platform, iLevel.
- Collaborate with legal and business analyst teams to locate and interpret key legal documents.
- Extract covenant and reporting requirements from complex legal agreements.
- Perform data analysis and spreadsheeting activities using an ADI (Automated Data Ingestion) tool.
- Conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring and perform necessary credit analysis.
- Assist in developing automated dashboards and reports for KPIs, covenant tracking, and early-warning signals.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment operations, credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Moderate to strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial statement spreading and credit analysis.
- Ability to investigate complex issues, identify connections, and uncover insights.
- Familiarity with credit rating methodologies.
- Experience using workflow and surveillance software.

Team & Environment
You will join the Private Asset Investment team, part of a division managing over $150 billion in AUM. The team manages over $25 billion of AUM. You will report directly to the Private Credit Surveillance Manager.
