Halliburton is hiring an Inventory Planner to coordinate inventory planning requirements, ensuring seamless integration of supply chain and operations processes for our product service lines. In this role, you will execute inventory plans against demand forecasts to achieve optimized inventory levels, directly impacting financial goals.
What You'll Do
- Gather business outlook from Product Service Lines and Business Development to execute the inventory plan against the demand plan.
- Perform planning activities including review of forecasts and replenishment recommendations generated by inventory planning tools.
- Lead inventory planning meetings and ensure resulting actions are executed.
- Provide coaching and training to Material Control Specialists.
- Serve as team lead for small work groups or project teams.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of a two-year degree; a four-year undergraduate degree in supply chain, engineering/applied math, finance/accounting, or business is preferred.
- Four years of related experience in materials management including procurement or logistics, OR a four-year degree plus 2 years of related work experience.
- Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems.
- Professional background in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain management, primarily in inventory management, with knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, and finance.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and statistical tools.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Desirable experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP).
