Best Buy Canada Ltd. is looking for an Inventory Demand Planner to execute inventory strategy ensuring product availability both in-store and online. You will analyze inventory and sales data, partner with vendors, and manage purchase orders and forecasting.
What You'll Do
- Analyze inventory and sales data to provide analytical insights.
- Partner with vendors globally and analyze vendor performance to make informed decisions with buyers.
- Review and adjust location replenishment parameters and allocate quantities to each store and online.
- Perform purchase order creation, tracking, and receipts flow management to meet company objectives.
- Perform monthly inventory forecasting.
- Develop and communicate customer availability mitigation strategies to support sales forecasts.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of retail buying, inventory management, or planning experience.
- 2+ years of retail experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Critical thinking with a 'seek to understand' approach.
- Great team player.
