Mass General Brigham, through The McLean Hospital Corporation, is looking for an Inventory Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the smooth flow of supplies. You will work onsite at 80 Blossom Street, supporting a team dedicated to groundbreaking medical discoveries and exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchasing orders and track them to resolution.
- Record purchases, maintain the database, perform physical inventory counts, and reconcile stock to reports.
- Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; restock items and label shelves as necessary.
- Process and approve invoices for payment and document returns following established procedures.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
- May lead, guide, and train staff, student employees, interns, and/or volunteers.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience directly related to inventory and ordering duties.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
- Ability to reconcile physical stock counts to report data.
- Database management and office skills, including data entry and word processing.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems and prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Knowledge of university invoicing procedures.
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $17.36 - $24.79/hourly.
Work Mode
This position is onsite at our 80 Blossom Street location.
