Intuitive is seeking an Intuitive Endoluminal Director, Japan Sales and Marketing to guide our entry into the Japanese market. You will lead the strategic vision and tactical execution for the Ion Endoluminal System, navigating from pre-commercial activities through product launch and commercial sales.
What You'll Do
- Hire, develop, and lead commercial sales and marketing teams.
- Coach the team towards high performance, talent retention, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Nurture the Intuitive Individual and Leadership Expectations and create an environment of continuous personal and professional development.
- Identify, develop, and implement strategies that drive early adoption and ensure clinical and economic validation can be scaled through early adopters.
- Build a positive company image and increase market acceptance by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees.
- Develop a network of Key Opinion Leading physicians in Interventional Pulmonology, Advanced Bronchoscopy, and Thoracic Surgery.
- Manage accountability for the revenue and expenses directly attributable to the business.
- Interact and communicate regularly with regional and global commercial leadership.

- Ability to understand trends, technology, and opportunities across the market and convert that knowledge into activities that increase business success.
- Ability to build professional business relationships at various levels of physician leadership, hospital leadership, and government healthcare administration bodies.
- Microsoft Office expertise.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Ability to travel up to 70%.
Nice to Have
- Experience with capital equipment sales, strongly preferred, supporting transactions greater than 100,000,000 JPY per transaction.
- Clinical acumen in lung health specialties.
- An MBA or other advanced degree.
