Interview Engineers at Karat facilitate technical interviews with software developers globally, creating inclusive hiring processes by mitigating bias and delivering objective evaluations. This is a contractor/freelancer role focused on assessing coding skills and technical knowledge through Karat's platform.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate an interview through Karat's platform
- Create an enjoyable candidate experience while evaluating a candidate's fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge
- Provide input on the candidate's performance, coding style, communication skills, knowledge question answers, and coding approach
- Collaborate with Karat to test content, processes, and products
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) with a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Reliable access to a working webcam, microphone, and a stable Internet connection
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting technical interviews (e.g., data structures, algorithms)
