As a Sales Application Engineer specializing in Paving & Milling, you will play a key technical role in deploying and supporting advanced digital construction systems throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Your expertise will ensure seamless implementation of Trimble’s Roadworks and PCS solutions, from initial setup to full operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-depth technical training and ongoing support to distribution partners on paving and milling technologies
- Guide teams through system installation, commissioning, and operational workflows
- Lead the global introduction of new features and capabilities, ensuring smooth adoption
- Translate field-based technical feedback into actionable insights for product development teams
- Represent the company at major industry events, trade shows, and customer demonstrations
Qualifications
Candidates should bring direct experience in civil construction, particularly in paving, milling, or compaction operations. Familiarity with CAD tools, 3D modeling software, optical total stations, and field applications is essential. Strong communication skills in English are required, along with a proactive approach to resolving complex technical challenges.
- Proven field experience in construction technology or machine control systems
- Ability to assess technical requirements and prioritize solutions based on customer needs
- Additional language skills are an asset
- Experience installing or troubleshooting 3D machine control systems is preferred
Work Environment
