Karat is seeking an Interview Engineer based in Brazil to join our mission of creating a more equitable and effective technical hiring process. In this role, you will facilitate technical interviews with software developers globally through Karat's platform, focusing on objective evaluation and a positive candidate experience.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate technical interviews through Karat's platform, creating an enjoyable candidate experience while evaluating fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge.
- Provide detailed input on candidate performance, including coding style, communication skills, knowledge question answers, and overall technical approach.
- Collaborate with Karat to test and improve interview content, processes, and products.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, with a high level of professionalism and interpersonal ability.
- Reliable access to a working webcam, microphone, and a stable Internet connection.
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting technical interviews, particularly on topics like data structures and algorithms.
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates located in Brazil.
