Intersect is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our power plant engineering initiatives. You will apply your technical expertise to a range of challenges within the power generation sector. This role is open to qualified candidates across the United States and Canada.
What You'll Do
- Design, analyze, and evaluate mechanical systems and components for power plants.
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning and execution.
- Conduct failure analysis and propose solutions for operational improvements.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical design or analysis for power generation or similar heavy industrial environments.
- Proficiency with engineering analysis software and design tools.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in either the United States or Canada.
