About the Role

GE Vernova is hiring an Internal Sales Specialist – Marine Services to drive sales growth within the Marine, Offshore, and Naval sectors of its Service business. You will collaborate closely with regional sales teams to support and secure internal orders from global markets, manage opportunities proactively, and lead initiatives to convert new sales from the installed base.

What You'll Do

  • Support the internal sales process and serve as the single point of contact for other regional GE Vernova businesses.
  • Secure internal business in line with Business Orders, Margin, and Convertibility targets.
  • Proactively manage opportunities using Salesforce.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with internal sales teams at all levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop opportunity-specific differentiators and competitive offerings.
  • Strategically plan and organize sales efforts to maximize opportunities from the installed base and meet sales targets.
  • Work with Commercial Operations and Application Engineering to develop compelling bids.
  • Travel occasionally to customer meetings in the UK and internationally several times a year.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience in sales and relationship development within the Offshore, Marine, or Naval sectors.
  • Proven ability to capture and interpret customer requirements effectively.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in target account sales and working to defined quotas.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within the UK and abroad on short notice.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Current possession or eligibility to obtain BPSS national security vetting level.

  • Technical knowledge of electrical systems, drives, and automation systems.
