Breeze is hiring an Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) Auditor to conduct and administer process and performance audits under our IEP program. Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Compliance and QA, you will be responsible for planning audits, analyzing findings, and driving continuous improvement across operations.
What You'll Do
- Plan, prepare, and conduct quality internal audits in accordance with the IEP schedule
- Independently deliver audits by reviewing manuals, conducting interviews, and observing practices
- Document findings, generate reports, and conduct root cause analysis for process breakdowns
- Track, follow up, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective action plans
- Assist department leadership in annual budget planning for audits
- Resolve audit discrepancies with all levels of leadership
- Conduct training for the IEP program upon request
- Trend IEP data to identify organizational top risks
- Assist with program development under direction from department leadership
- Interface with all Safety department team members on projects and data analytics
- Understand and communicate applicable standards, laws, and regulations (FARs, DoD, IOSA)
- Communicate findings to all levels of leadership, including executive leadership
- Assist with Regulatory Compliance duties including VDRP follow-ups and special investigations

What We're Looking For
- A 4-year degree in an Aviation Safety-related field or 4+ years of additional experience in internal evaluation, auditing, project management, technical writing, or airline operations
- 3+ years of Part 121 or 135 aviation experience
- Ability to audit and compare technical documents to FAA DCTs and other regulatory standards
- Must have and maintain a valid passport, or be cleared for international travel
- Comfortable facilitating meetings with all levels of leadership and business partners
- Comfortable delivering training and facilitating for large groups
- Demonstrated abilities in self organization and a self-starting work ethic
- Must be willing to travel up to an average of 40% of the time
Nice to Have
- Experience with auditing to IOSA standards or IOSA conformance auditor training
- Prior experience at a DOD approved air carrier and auditing to DOD standards
- Prior experience with maintaining an audit budget and tracking audit expenses
- 2+ years of lead auditor experience
- 5+ years of experience in a frontline airline operations role (pilot, dispatch, ground ops, etc)
- FAA commercial/ATP pilot certificate, Dispatcher certificate, or A&P certificate
- Professional auditing certification (e.g., ASQ, IIA)
