General Motors is hiring an Internal Communication Content Creator (Temporary)

General Motors LLC is looking for a Temporary Internal Communication Content Creator to lead communication initiatives and produce dynamic content that engages our internal audience. This role is central to shaping how we share our vision of a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion.

What You'll Do

• Direct functional topics and build relationships with media partners.
• Support product storytelling for reveal, launch, and lifecycle communications.
• Lead selected communication programs and initiatives.
• Write for media and assist in developing media assets.
• Research, present, and maintain key messages.
• Manage communication calendars and provide weekly activity updates.
• Collaborate on programs and assist in creating content.
• Improve and keep communication channels updated.
• Innovate in how communication is disseminated.
• Develop internal communication materials.
• Design and create audiovisual material for corporate videos, including All People Meetings, WOC Campaigns, GMS, Safety, and special events.
• Take and edit official photographs.
• Conduct necessary training and develop technical and interpersonal skills.
• Design and illustrate pieces for campaigns.
• Generate animated digital content.

What We're Looking For

• A professional degree in Audiovisual Production, Marketing, Communication Sciences, Digital Communication, or Graphic Design.
• Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canvas, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci, and Bilingual Design.
• Advanced English oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent spelling and writing ability.
• Advanced handling of design applications like the Adobe Suite.
• Intermediate handling of Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production plant environment in a similar position.
