CNO Financial is looking for an Internal Audit Intern for Summer 2026. This program provides college students with practical, hands-on experience in accounting and finance within the insurance industry.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the execution of specific audit procedures
- Prepare work papers documenting audit procedures performed
- Assist in follow-up work to determine the adequacy of corrective actions taken by management
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Identify matters that should be reviewed and/or escalated to Senior/Manager
What We're Looking For
- Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Current status as a rising junior or rising senior with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Availability to work 10-12 weeks during the summer
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Office products
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage time and multi-task to complete work timely and accurately
- Demonstrates strong work ethic, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
- Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
