Yazaki is hiring an Intern, Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Support investigations to identify failure modes for connectors – corrosion due to potential differences, wire insulation compression set, etc.
  • Completed report identifying effects of potential failure modes
  • Work closely with engineers in connector development team, testing center.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Nice to Have

  • Seeking a Junior or Senior enrolled in Mechanical Engineering degree program.
  • Strong mechanical skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
