Gilead Sciences, Inc. is looking for an Intern - Manufacturing Operations - Business Strategy and Operations. You will contribute to high-impact projects within the Global Manufacturing Strategy & Operations team, focusing on improving strategic planning and supporting operational excellence initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Advance processes and projects for the Global Manufacturing Strategy & Operations team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the annual strategic planning process.
• Support visualizations and digitization strategy for the project portfolio and business performance management system.
• Assist in developing the vision and strategy for operational excellence in Global Manufacturing.
• Showcase your work with a final presentation near the conclusion of your internship.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Masters, MBA, or PhD program at an accredited US-based university.
• Must be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, or Doctoral Student.
• Enrolled full-time for the Fall Semester after the internship.
• Able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August.
• Able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration.

Nice to Have

• Preferred Degree qualification: Graduate or MBA.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to identify issues and seek solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
• Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated interest in manufacturing, operations management, and/or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Benefits & Compensation

• Compensation: $19.00 - $55.00 per hour.
• Paid company holidays.
