Grifols is looking for an Intern - Automation - Engineering Project to join the Maintenance and Engineering team. You will perform a full analysis of spare parts used across equipment and facilities, providing crucial support for maintenance operations, asset management, and reliability engineering.
What You'll Do
- Analyze spare parts inventory to identify critical components, usage trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Classify spare parts based on criticality, equipment type, and maintenance strategy.
- Support the engineering team with bill of materials (BOM) reviews and equipment documentation updates.
- Identify obsolete parts and support recommendations for alternatives or elimination.
- Prepare reports and dashboards summarizing findings and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in reliability and maintenance improvement projects related to spare parts availability and equipment uptime.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, as a rising junior or senior OR currently accepted or enrolled in a Master's or PhD program.
- A current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with Excel, including working with Macros and pivot tables, as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
