Sony Corporation of America is looking for an Intern, Advanced Computer Graphics Research to collaborate with a research team developing our future products and services. This internship focuses on the cross-field of generative AI and 3D computer graphics, offering valuable experience in entertainment industry applications and research.
What You'll Do
- Research and evaluate the performance of state-of-the-art computer graphics algorithms in the challenging cross field of generative AI and 3D computer graphics.
- Apply software engineering skills to prototype algorithms to identify challenges for our research.
- Learn, collaborate and network alongside world-class researchers to investigate algorithms; present your findings and contribute to industry leading entertainment technology community.
- Work onsite at our Culver City lab.
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. candidate or Post-doc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience and research track record in the area of human centric Generative AI and/or photo-realistic 3D human computer graphics modeling/animation/rendering.
- Familiarity with Python, Matlab or C/C++ for rapid algorithm prototyping.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, Blender, Marmoset or related graphic platforms.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
