Mass General Brigham, via Wentworth-Douglass Physician Corporation, seeks an Interim Digital Services Manager. This is an 18-month interim role focused on advancing and supporting the adoption of digital technologies by overseeing all aspects of the Digital Services Portfolio. You will drive value, awareness, and revenue for digital services while providing leadership to the team.
What You'll Do
- Act as the main point of contact between the digital services portfolio team and internal stakeholders.
- Provide logistical and strategic oversight for the full digital services portfolio.
- Support Sales Representatives, Account Managers, and Operations Teams in understanding, selling, and delivering digital services.
- Oversee development of marketing and training programs.
- Assess market opportunities, customer needs, and perceptions for mining and construction customers.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive product offerings and industry trends.
- Identify gap opportunities for product offerings to gain incremental market penetration.
- Identify opportunities where digital solutions can support business initiatives.
- Develop support plans for Digital Service Offerings and associated digital solutions.
- Drive growth and maintain connectivity of connected assets.
- Manage the introduction of new portfolio offerings.
- Align and communicate pricing for each offering.
- Manage changes and updates to portfolio specifications after introduction.
- Routinely visit customers to understand needs, maintain relationships, and aid in adoption and sales.
- Support the Sales Team with technical input, inquiries, proposal creation, pricing, and issue resolution.
- Define and regularly report on KPIs for the Digital Services Portfolio.
- Maintain and report financial information for the Digital Services Offerings including revenues, cost, and margins.
- Provide leadership and management to the Remote Monitoring team.
- Manage Remote Monitoring contracts and trials.
- Create development plans for the Remote Monitoring team.
- Translate reliability opportunities into bottom-line cost savings and top-line growth.
- Provide valuable input to technical leadership at all levels of the mines.
- Provide engineering and process solutions to complex reliability and asset availability challenges.
- Support the development and administration of analytical platforms and applications for reliability reporting.
- Work closely with the Global Productivity Center to create insights and improve algorithms to predict failures.
- Participate in various digitalization projects to provide practical inputs in the design phase of service applications.
- Adhere to the Environmental, Health & Safety Policy.
- Attend health and safety related trainings.
- Perform Risk Assessments prior to each task.
- Identify and report hazards.
- Work in a safe manner as reasonably practicable.
- Wear the required PPE assigned for each location.
What We're Looking For
- A college degree.
- Minimum 5-year mobile equipment mining experience.
- A mechanical background.
- Tech savvy with attention to detail and ability to dig through detailed data.
- Ability to sort through alarm codes and prioritize issues, providing resolution and recommendations.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
- A blend of business, marketing, communication, and project skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to travel when required, domestically and internationally.
Nice to Have
- A degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Project Management experience.
- A background in diagnostics.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Business Line Manager Parts & Services. Internal contacts include the Global Digital Services Team, Account Managers, Product Support and Sales Staff, Field Service Managers, Parts and Services Management, Administrative Support Teams, Technicians, and Support Staff.
