As an Integration Tech Lead at Glue Reply, the UK’s leading IT Architecture & Integration consultancy, you will play a pivotal role supporting blue-chip clients and ensuring the implementation of integration best practices.
What You'll Do
- Define and design integration solutions based on high-level business and technical requirements.
- Lead and manage teams of developers working with integration technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Camel, and Workato.
- Translate business and integration needs into solution designs, RAML specifications, and Mule flows, selecting appropriate connectors and ensuring robust error-handling and security.
- Support architects by developing blueprints and detailed technical specifications for integration solutions.
- Ensure all integration solutions adhere to established standards and principles for consistency and compliance.
- Champion automated testing practices, including unit and integration tests, and ensure performance and security best practices are applied.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Integration Developers and testers.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Glue Reply’s intellectual property within the Integration Practice.
- Collaborate with business analysts and clients to clarify requirements, breaking down work into actionable stories and tasks for the team.
- Drive team progress, maintaining development velocity and ensuring project goals are met.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in enterprise integration development, including 3+ years as a senior integration developer or team lead.
- Demonstrable integration design and development expertise.
- Strong understanding of SOA and REST principles and their application.
- In-depth knowledge of API management, MFT, ETL, and messaging concepts.
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as MuleSoft and others (WebSphere, Oracle, WebMethods, Talend, Tibco, Apache Camel, Boomi).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with XSD, XML, XSLT, web services, APIs, JSON, and messaging queues (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, MQSeries, MSMQ).
- Must be eligible for UK government security clearance (SC level) and able to work on-site at client offices when required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Java frameworks (such as Hibernate and Camel), as well as architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or MODAF.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and prior client-side consulting experience.
- Ability to work autonomously to deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations, and experience in a Solution Architect role.
