What You'll Do
Guide the strategic direction and technical management of enterprise financial applications across a multi-entity health system. You will lead system optimization, modernization, and cloud migration initiatives, ensuring platforms remain stable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs. Your work will directly support finance, supply chain, FP&A, research, and clinical teams through scalable solutions and automation.
- Define and execute the long-term roadmap for financial systems, incorporating emerging technologies such as AI and cloud-based platforms
- Lead complex projects from planning to delivery, ensuring clear objectives, stakeholder alignment, and measurable results
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to transform financial processes, improve reporting, and enhance system integration
- Oversee lifecycle management, governance, and audit readiness for all financial applications and integrations
- Manage vendor relationships, service levels, and contract performance to ensure value and compliance
- Support technical configuration, security administration, and system integrations, including mobile supply chain tools and data interfaces
- Provide strategic insights on technology trends, system performance, and innovation opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience in financial systems or IT, with a focus on financial applications
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven experience with ERP systems, particularly Infor, and relational database platforms
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger, and financial reporting structures
- Proficiency in SQL, data management, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and analytical reasoning
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Healthcare industry experience, particularly in financial systems or IT
- Direct experience with cloud migration, automation, and AI-enabled financial tools
- Familiarity with mobile supply chain technologies and devices
Work Environment
This is an onsite role located at the Boston Medical Center campus. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular engagement with stakeholders across finance, operations, and IT.
