Remote Raven is looking for an Insurance Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on processing and managing insurance policy applications, endorsements, renewals, certificates, and cancellations for either Commercial or Personal Lines Property and Casualty Insurance. You'll need keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Process new insurance policy applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
- Handle policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in a timely and prompt manner.
- Review policy applications for compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and policy records.
- Ensure all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored.
- Generate and distribute policy documents to clients and relevant parties.
- Enter policy information into the insurance management system accurately and efficiently.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
- Update and maintain client and policy information in the database.
- Assist clients with inquiries related to policy status, coverage details, and billing.
- Provide support to the customer service team by supplying necessary policy information.
- Communicate with clients, agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Ensure all processing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on policy processing activities and performance metrics.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and industry trends.
