Responsibilities
- Track and oversee insurance renewal schedules
- Support internal and lender-led insurance audits
- Maintain accurate exception reporting in line with compliance standards
- Assist in reviewing vendor insurance compliance
- Verify that insurance coverage meets requirements for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and CMBS loan programs
- Resolve coverage exceptions and manage expiration tracking to prevent lapses
- Ensure data accuracy related to compliance and uphold coverage standards
- Preserve the correctness and consistency of internal and external records, including mortgagee details, lender conditions, insurable values, and related data
- Provide support during compliance audits requiring expertise in insurance policy interpretation
- Oversee a defined portfolio involving multiple lenders by collecting documents, evaluating insurance terms, recommending actions, and assessing potential risks
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on insurance matters, offering guidance to servicing teams, production staff, and leadership
- Detect and evaluate potential insurance-related risks
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and collaborate within a team setting
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Collaborate with Asset Managers, Closers, and Escrow Managers to safeguard insurance coverage integrity
