BWE is seeking an Insurance Analyst to monitor and manage insurance renewals, assist with audits, and ensure compliant, adequate insurance coverage for a portfolio of commercial real estate loans.

What You'll Do

Monitor and manage insurance renewals.
Assist with internal and lender insurance audits and ensure compliant exception reports.
Assist with internal vendor insurance audits.
Ensure the integrity and adequacy of insurance coverage for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and CMBS loans.
Address exceptions and manage expiration lists to ensure continuous and adequate insurance coverage.
Ensure the accuracy of internal and external data, including mortgagee clauses, lender requirements, insurable values, and other relevant information.
Function as an insurance subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to servicing, production, and senior management as needed.
Identify and analyze insurance risk.
Work effectively with Asset Managers, Closers, and Escrow Managers to maintain the integrity of insurance coverage for the portfolio.

What We're Looking For

5 years of experience in commercial real estate insurance.
High school diploma.
Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word programs and Outlook.

Nice to Have

Relevant experience in commercial mortgage and loan servicing.
Undergraduate business degree.
Current insurance designations (e.g., CPCU, CISR, CIC, AIS, CRM).
Experience with commercial insurance with emphasis on lender requirements for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD and CMBS lenders.
