BWE is hiring an Insurance Analyst to protect the integrity of insurance coverage for our commercial real estate loan portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring key reports, managing compliance, and ensuring data accuracy across critical insurance documents.
What You'll Do
- Satisfy insurance exception and expiration lists for material and non-material items.
- Manage data integrity for documents shared with internal teams, agents, and borrowers, ensuring correct mortgagee clauses, lender requirements, and insurable values.
- Assist with lender and internal compliance audits, including those from entities like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Fitch.
- Manage your own assigned portfolio of loans.
- Provide insurance guidance and act as a subject matter expert for servicing, production, and senior management teams.
- Partner effectively with Asset Managers, Closers, and Escrow Managers to maintain portfolio insurance coverage.
What We're Looking For
- 10 years of experience with insurance for commercial real estate.
- A high school diploma.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach to your work.
Nice to Have
- Relevant experience in commercial real estate finance and loan servicing.
- Experience on the insurance agency or carrier side.
- Insurance underwriting experience.
- An undergraduate business degree.
- Current insurance designations such as CPCU, CISR, CIC, AIS, or CRM.

You will work directly with the Insurance Operations Manager, Asset Managers, Escrow Managers, and Closers, reporting to the Insurance Operations Manager.
