Fullstack Academy is seeking a part-time Instructor to deliver content from the AI and Machine Learning Post Graduate Program developed with Microsoft for Simplilearn. You will lead live online classes, mentor students through labs and projects, and simplify complex AI/ML concepts for learners.
What You'll Do
- Teach select lessons in accordance with learning objectives and session plans.
- Employ strategies for adult learners, leveraging tech tools and sharing industry insights.
- Manage regular communication with students on progress, expectations, and concerns.
- Provide individualized student support during class sessions and outside class via office hours.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback on student performance and progression.
- Assist in managing Performance Action Plans for students needing additional support.
- Exhibit professionalism and an ethical, empathetic approach with staff, students, and the public.
- Promote student retention and satisfaction by creating a positive classroom culture.
- Encourage teamwork and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL).
- Experience developing and deploying models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other ML frameworks.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, SVMs, decision trees, reinforcement learning).
- Solid background in mathematical foundations: probability theory, linear algebra, optimization, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with the full ML lifecycle: data pre-processing, feature engineering, model selection, evaluation, and deployment.
- Proficiency with ML libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Experience working with real-world data, including handling structured/unstructured datasets, data cleaning, and EDA.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience, ideally in an online learning environment.
- Passion for teaching and ability to simplify complex AI/ML topics for various skill levels.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), with student-centric teaching methods.
- Professionalism, integrity, and empathy in all learner and team interactions.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop.
