ALDO Group is hiring an Instructor to conduct initial and continuing training and assist with drills for the Emergency Planning department at the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant. You will be instrumental in identifying performance gaps and developing targeted training solutions to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct EP initial and continuing training.
- Assist line with EP drills.
- Develop instructional materials and conduct training for emergency response organization personnel.
- Maintain training programs in accordance with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Incorporate changes to keep the training program current.
- Develop high-quality training materials.
- Conduct trainee evaluations in various training settings (classroom, laboratory, emergency facility).
- Support station business initiatives, refueling outages, Emergency Planning (EP) duties, and other projects.
- Participate in instructional continuing training.
- Participate in management assessments.
- Ensure training records are complete, accurate and auditable.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent or an associate’s/bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in science, technology, engineering (electrical), mathematics, physics, etc.
- Four years of nuclear (preferable) or other related industry work experience.
- Nuclear (preferable) or other related industry experience teaching emergency preparedness initial and/or continuing training.
- Knowledge of and experience using the systematic approach to training (SAT) process.
- Good interpersonal skills, effective writing and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to instruct.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
