Ancora Education is hiring an Instructor responsible for delivering curriculum and fostering academic development. In this role, you will use effective educational practices to ensure students gain the skills and knowledge necessary for their chosen field and career success.
What You'll Do
- Utilize classroom and lab instruction, student assessments, and classroom management to provide an engaging educational experience.
- Guarantee that students are presented with the material needed to successfully meet the learning objectives for each course.
- Ensure all instructional materials and equipment are prepared, sufficient in quantity, properly maintained, and in working order.
- Participate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development; maintain required certification and licensure.
- Actively contribute to meetings, analyze assessment data, compile reports, and meet academic deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory guidelines, as well as internal company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Active certification or licensure where required by the subject area.
- For Non‐Degree and Occupational Associate Degree courses: a minimum of three (3) years’ practical work experience in the field of instruction.
- For Academic Associate or Bachelor's Degree courses: four (4) years’ practical work experience and a related degree at least at the same level as the course being taught.
- For all online faculty: a master's degree in the content area or a master's degree with a minimum of 18 semester/24 quarter graduate credit hours in the content area.
