Responsibilities
- Carefully unpack, assemble, and install office furniture such as desks, cubicles, cabinets, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret schematics and installation instructions to ensure accurate setup.
- Apply construction estimating skills to plan efficient installation sequences and manage time effectively.
- Safely perform heavy lifting to move large or bulky items without causing damage or injury.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to coordinate schedules and promptly address on-site challenges.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and responsibly disposing of packaging materials.
Requirements
- Excellent customer communication experience in English and Spanish.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving history.
- Field verification experience.
- Experience with and familiarity in interpreting schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
- Experience working safely on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of electrical work is a plus.
- Excellent craftsmanship in fabrication, fixture installation, and woodworking skills.
- A proactive attitude combined with strong communication skills.
