Responsibilities
- Install and service electronic security systems including intrusion detection, access control, cameras, and integrated systems, and resolve installation-related issues.
- Wire both new construction and existing structures for security system installation.
- Program security systems and associated devices.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning.
- Train customers on system usage and basic troubleshooting of common issues and programming features.
- Perform service tasks for electronic security systems such as troubleshooting, repairing, updating, upgrading, and maintenance.
- Analyze and diagnose system failures to identify causes and necessary corrective actions.
- Inspect work quality to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Document all work performed and corrective actions thoroughly and descriptively.
Work Arrangement
On-site — Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, Door County, Appleton, The Lakeshore, Central Wisconsin
Other
- Be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds, and work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
- Ability to manipulate objects, including feeding wires and assembling system components.
- Ascend and descend ladders.
- Operate hand tools, drive trucks and large vans, and haul trailers.
