Wasserman is seeking an Installation Supervisor (Wayfinding) to lead the installation of all wayfinding signage across assigned venues. This role focuses on supervising crews and delivering directional and informational signage, temporary systems, and mounting structures according to project plans and brand standards.
What You'll Do
- Review wayfinding drawings, signage schedules, placement plans, and installation manuals.
- Align installation timelines with overall project schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics teams on delivery sequencing and material flow.
- Assist in confirming crew requirements for wayfinding works.
- Conduct pre-installation site walks where needed.
- Supervise wayfinding installation crews on-site and manage daily installation activities.
- Ensure signage is installed per approved drawings, placement plans, and brand guidelines.
- Verify correct fixing methods (floor mounted, wall mounted, suspended, freestanding).
- Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and enforce safe working practices.
- Perform quality inspections for level, aligned, secure, and clean signage.
- Verify visibility, legibility, and correct positioning per approved plans.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies, access challenges, or clashes.
- Maintain installation progress tracking and provide daily status updates.
- Ensure compliance with venue regulations and health & safety standards.
- Liaise with venue representatives for sequencing and access.
- Support walk-throughs and inspections related to wayfinding installations.
- Provide a detailed handover report to the Wayfinding Manager & Installation Manager upon completion.
- Communicate any outstanding snags, access restrictions, or required signage adjustments.
- Transfer all relevant documentation and site information for maintenance and de-rig phases.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in signage, wayfinding, venue dressing, exhibition build, or large-scale event installation.
- Proven experience supervising installation crews in stadiums, arenas, or complex public venues.
- Ability to interpret wayfinding drawings, placement plans, installation manuals, and signage schedules.
- Strong understanding of signage fixing methods (floor-mounted, wall-mounted, suspended, freestanding systems).
- Experience delivering projects within compressed timelines and high-pressure event environments.
- Solid knowledge of health & safety standards and safe working practices on active sites.
- Ability to coordinate with logistics teams on delivery sequencing and material flow.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on alignment, visual quality, and brand compliance.
- Strong documentation and reporting capability, including structured handover reports.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and travel between venues as required.
- Fluency in English.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position requiring presence at venue locations.
