Kidde Global Solutions seeks an experienced Inside Sales Specialist to work independently generating leads, meeting performance goals, and providing exceptional support. In this role, you will be responsible for customer satisfaction, account management, and driving growth within the electrical and HVAC markets, with expansion into fire equipment distribution and Edwards Signaling.
What You'll Do
- Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned accounts within a designated region.
- Achieve target revenue growth and profitability metrics by channel segment and customer.
- Actively seek opportunities to convert customer purchases from competitive solutions.
- Engage customers through inbound and outbound calling activities.
- Educate customers about new products, legislation, and product updates.
- Demonstrate product knowledge to explain features, benefits, and competitive advantages, offering customer solutions.
- Manage, maintain, and update customer interactions in a tracking system.
- Work collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers and third-party rep agencies to ensure high levels of support.
- Coordinate with customer service, finance, and logistics to ensure timely responses to customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Identify new products and promote products and brands at industry shows.
- Support a geographical area, including regional sales managers, to meet or exceed the region’s quota.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of inside sales or account management experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- 1+ year of experience with the MSFT Office suite.
- Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience.
- Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Nice to Have
- Inside Sales, Lead Generation, and Account Management skills.
- Fire safety specific experience is strongly preferred.
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Previous sales experience in the fire safety industry.
- Previous sales experience with electrical distribution and/or National Accounts.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Ability to source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
