Race Communications is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth. In this remote role, you will proactively engage potential customers via phone, web, email, and selling tools to convey the value of our products and services.
What You'll Do
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow-ups, outbound call campaigns, emails, messaging applications, and in-person events.
- Research accounts, identify potential sales opportunities, and generate interest.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Identify, assess, and understand customer needs and requirements to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Gain and retain extensive product knowledge as well as a detailed comprehension of customer requirements.
- Manage creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
- Generate new business and promote growth of existing accounts.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information when using our CRM and other provided software.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, processes customer accounts, and file documents.
- Handle inbound calls, providing callers with product and service information.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits; coordinate communication and action with appropriate departments and team members; follow up with customers to ensure resolution.
- Follow sales team procedures and guidelines, along with policies outlined in the Race Communications Employee Handbook.
- Participate in outbound call campaigns and attend outside sales events (travel required).
What We're Looking For
- Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in sales, outside sales, or a related field, with equivalent work experience in customer-facing roles required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce and HubSpot) to manage customer data, track interactions, and analyze customer behavior.
- Increased customer through the implementation of targeted relationship management strategies, resulting in improved client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales quota given by Vice President of Sales and Marketing, achieving monthly target phone sales.
- The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication.
- Proficient use of MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; teleconferencing applications.
- Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Spanish Language is desirable.
