Calix is looking for an Inside Sales Intern to join our team for a full-time, remote summer internship. You will be part of the Inside Sales team, collaborating across functions, interacting with customers, and directly impacting sales results through high levels of outreach activity.

What You'll Do

Work with key internal stakeholders to support Sales programs.
Team with multiple sales organizations on projects focused on market expansion.
Update CRM tools to ensure complete data for marketing, demand generation, and sales activities.
Research details in Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other tools.
Gather content to support Sales enablement.
Assist with general data clean-up initiatives.
Add new segmentation information to existing accounts and contacts, such as job function, contact details, and product preferences.
Contact assigned prospects to set appointments or gather information.

What We're Looking For

Currently working towards a Marketing, Communications, Business, or Sales degree.
A collaborative and curious mindset.
Strong communication skills and an excellent telephone presence.
Detail oriented.
Experience in a role or project requiring analytical problem solving and data analysis.
Ability to work effectively with a high tolerance for ambiguity within fast-changing environments.
Comfortable with calling on prospects to generate appointments.
Experience with the Microsoft Office software suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).
