Evernorth Health Services is looking for an Inpatient Telepharmacist to serve multiple hospitals across several states using advanced technology to deliver clinical pharmacy expertise remotely. This part-time role focuses on maximizing the quality of patient care through remote order review and clinical support.
What You'll Do
- Provide telepharmacy services for multiple clients, including remote order entry, verification, and patient counseling.
- Learn and operate multiple pharmacy information systems (PIS’s).
- Obtain and maintain multiple state licenses (MA, NY, OH, PA, WV).
- Prioritize, assign, and evaluate work for assigned clients.
- Maintain accurate records and document actions in the PLRX system.
- Provide drug information and clinical therapeutic recommendations.
- Counsel patients, nurses, and medical staff on proper medication use.
- Investigate and resolve medication variances.
- Provide preliminary technological troubleshooting during breakdowns.
- Work simultaneously with VPNs, various PIS’s, automation systems, and basic computer programs.
- Participate in ongoing clinical, PIS, and policy update training.
- Strive to achieve and maintain company productivity metrics.
What We're Looking For
- A Pharmacy degree (B.S Pharmacy or PharmD.).
- A valid Pharmacist license issued by a State Board of Pharmacy.
- Willingness to obtain multiple state licensures (MA, NY, OH, PA, WV).
- Access to high-speed internet service (cable broadband or fiber optic, no satellite).
- A working knowledge of formulary policies and pharmacy and therapeutics procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of client/server applications.
- Proficiency with office technology tools (MS Office, Google Drive, internet, email).

- 2+ years’ experience in a hospital inpatient setting.

Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain active pharmacist licenses for Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
