Scarpel Telecom seeks a Medical Device Sales Representative (Referral Development Manager) to join our team supporting Inogen. In this role, you will call on physicians and discharge planners to win patient referrals for Inogen's oxygen products. Your work will drive marketplace adoption, exceed customer expectations, and achieve corporate sales objectives.
What You'll Do
- Procure new oxygen patient referrals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Represent and promote Inogen products and services to the referral community.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales call targets.
- Deliver and set up equipment when necessary.
- Keep detailed records of all sales activities and customer interactions.
- Provide and execute a territory sales plan with strategic and tactical approaches.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned.
- For Senior RDM: Create and execute territory sales plans.
- For Senior RDM: Act as liaison to other departments representing RDM's.
- For Senior RDM: Ensure team members adhere to SOPs and retrain as necessary.
- For Senior RDM: Make independent decisions to guide and instruct other RDM's.
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years medical referral sales experience (for Level I RDM).
- 3+ years medical referral sales experience (for Level II Sr. RDM).
- Basic knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office (for Level I).
- Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office (for Level II).
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Oxygen referral experience with proven track record.
- Self-starter who delivers results with limited oversight.
- Proven track record of successful team participation.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective conflict resolution.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.

- A combination of training, education and experience equivalent to the listed qualifications.
Nice to Have
- Associate degree in Sales, Technical, Business, Clinical, or related field (for Level I).
- Clinical background/licensure (RT, RN) (for Level I).
- Clinical background/licensure (RT, RN) (for Level II).
- Associate degree in Sales, Technical, Business, Clinical, or related field (required for Level II).
- Experience working with the 65+ demographic.
- Successful experience in identifying new referral opportunities.

- Compensation: $64,000 and $73,727.00 annually (base salary range).
