About the Role We are expanding our IT team to develop robust and secure infrastructure that enables our employees, researchers, and developers to work efficiently and joyfully. The ideal candidate will be a versatile technologist comfortable working across various modern technological ecosystems. Note: This is a continuous recruitment opportunity. What You'll Accomplish - Manage comprehensive onboarding processes for a growing team, handling hardware procurement, shipping logistics, and account setup to ensure seamless new hire integration - Administer Identity Provider (Okta) for Single Sign-On, application provisioning, and access management - Oversee network infrastructure and physical office security systems - Coordinate remote and in-person conferencing technologies - Maintain and secure macOS device fleet using mobile device management solutions Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: - 5+ years of professional experience in IT Engineering, System Administration, or Corporate IT support - Ability to navigate ambiguous environments and drive projects independently - Thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments - Proactive approach with initiative to identify and resolve operational opportunities Preferred Qualifications: - Extensive SaaS expertise with Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise, GitHub - Advanced understanding of Okta and Zero Trust security principles - Experience managing physical security platforms - Proficiency in macOS device management - Scripting capabilities in Python, Bash - Vendor and project management skills Logistics: - Location: San Francisco, California - Compensation: $200,000 - $475,000 USD annually - Visa sponsorship available - Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, unlimited PTO, parental leave We are committed to equal opportunity employment, embracing diversity and inclusion across all organizational levels.
