About the Role
This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing information security risks across the organization, supporting compliance efforts, and enhancing the overall security posture through strategic risk frameworks and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze potential information security threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain risk assessment methodologies and documentation
- Evaluate risks associated with new technologies and business initiatives
- Support internal and external audit processes related to information security
- Monitor compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate risk treatment planning and track remediation progress
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into projects
- Produce regular risk reporting for management and stakeholders
- Maintain the organization's risk register with up-to-date entries
- Assess third-party security risks during vendor onboarding and reviews
- Contribute to incident response planning and post-incident reviews
- Support the implementation of security policies and controls
- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats and risk trends
- Assist in business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Promote risk awareness through training and internal communications
- Engage with legal and compliance teams on data protection matters
- Evaluate risks related to cloud services and infrastructure
- Support certification efforts for standards such as ISO 27001
- Drive continuous improvement in risk management processes
- Act as a point of contact for security risk inquiries
